Samantha's Ears
Poor little Samantha has had EIGHT ear infections since her sixth week. It makes Randy and I feel terrible every time she got an ear infections. She's such a happy kid. But as she's gotten older she's been more and more miserable with every ear infection. We saw a specialist last week who recommended that Samantha have surgery. So, tomorrow morning Samantha will be getting tubes in both of her ears (happy birthday to me :) ). Randy and I feel really good about the surgery. Our fears about anesthesia and surgery on a 3 month old have been comforted by a good Doctor and our prayers. We will update you on Samantha's status tomorrow. We appreciate all of the support from our family and friends! And we are looking forward to Samantha feeling better!

Good luck tomorrow. We will be thinking of you guys. Tommy thought of the best thing for during Caleb's surgery. He rented a comedy we hadn't seen and we sat in the hospital cafeteria and watched it until they paged us. It helped that hour go by so much quicker and with less worry.
