Jay and Linda came with the girls about a week ago! We had a great time and were sad to see them leave! We saw the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial and headed to the Museum of Natural History! I was surprised at how much Emily loved the Dinosaur bones. It was uncomfortably hot and humid and the girls were troopers! It was so fun spending the weekend with them!
This past Saturday, Randy ran a 10K for "Lawyers have heart." The race was in Georgetown a beautiful part of town! Randy did a great job!
On Friday, Randy and I went to Ben's Chili Bowl for some famous chili! It made for some great pictures, but the food was very disappointing!

After we had some chili, we headed to the National Sculpture Gardens for some Jazz in the Park.

There were so many people and they all smelled like alcohol, so we didn't spend too much time here, but it was fun to see what Jazz night was like!
On Tuesday, Randy and I got to go to the Nationals' Game for the debut of Strasburg! It was amazing! He pitched 14 strikes in 7 innings! What an amazing pitcher! We had great seats with Randy's firm in center field.

The day before the game, Randy and I went to a reception for Randy's work. It was held in the Swedish Embassy (The House of Sweden) in Georgetown. After the event we walked along the river and took some pictures!
These weekend, my parents come to town and we are so excited! We will be able to do lots of touristy stuff then too! We are looking forward to it!
How fun! Thanks for sharing the pictures! :D
