Because our 4 day road trip was... well, a road trip, I figured I'd sum it up for you:

Saturday- we left a snowy Utah rejoicing that we were leaving the cold, snowy weather!
Sunday- we woke up in North Platte, Nebraska anxious to get out of there! We passed a lot of cities that we vowed never to end up living in; North Platte, Nebraska was one of those cities. We decided to go to church before we started our day, but when we pulled up to church at 10 am no one was there. There were signs on the doors that said that church started at 10 am. I guess they decided not to have church (or maybe they had stake conference?). :)
Monday- we woke up in Davenport, Iowa. It started to get pretty depressing to get back in the car. But, we were finally heading into civilization! We thought it would be more fun to drive through big cities. We were hoping to stop in Chicago, but our friends we wanted to visit our still in school and we drove through Chicago around 11 am. So, it didn't work out. But, the closer we got to Virginia, the more we wanted to just drive on through.
Tuesday- we woke up in Akron, Ohio. We had quite the adventure the night before trying to find a place to eat that was open at 9:30 PM. We ended up eating at a Macaroni Grill. We were pretty excited to drive today because the end was in sight! Along the way, we passed a Nabisco semi-truck. The picture on the side of the truck was of a ritz cracker box. We bought a box of ritz crackers at a walmart on the first day of our trip. So, as we passed it, I held up our ritz cracker box and smiled. The driver started laughing. That was pretty much the most exciting thing that happened on our road trip :)

We got to Springfield, VA around 5:30 and our kind landlord had dinner ready for us. We love it here! We went into the city a couple of times and now Randy has started with his firm! More pictures to come of our site seeing!
Fun stories. Love the exciting Ritz cracker moment.
